Pettigrew State ParkTrails and Picnic areas located throughout the park. Maps are available at the park office. Family campsite for tents or trailers available with picnic tables, grills, restrooms with showers close by. The family campgrounds are drive-to campsites, each with a picnic table and a grill. They are located near the park office. These accomodate tents, RV's and trailers, each with a six people limit per site. They are open year round, but the washhouse is closed from January 2 until March 15. No reservations are required. Cost: Picnic table and grill on campsite are $15/day; Senior citizen (62 or older- $10/day; January 2 to March 15- $9/night (washhouse is closed). There are also primitive group campsites that include tent pad, picnic table, grill, drinking water and toilets. These are located at the end of Magnolia Road and accomodate up to 30 people. There are hiking and biking trails near by. These are open year round, but reservations are advised. Cost: Unimproved campsites with pit privies (composting or vault toilets, etc.) --- $1 per person per day with a $9 minimum per site. |
